SUCCESS STORIES

The comtetition is full of success stories.
In 2021, the project “School of Project Potential 4.0” of Norilsk Nickel from Russia won the Grand Prix. The team integrated the kaizen approach, the achievements of digital technologies and the latest approaches in adult education, into the innovative development of the training simulator and then brilliantly defended their project in a live broadcast!

The first place in 2021 was shared by two companies from Kazakhstan: ERG company with a large-scale project “Perfect quarry” and the project “Fighting losses” of a small enterprise – bakery “Karavay”, mentored by colleagues from ERG.

In 2020, the foreman from branch German company Alfmeier in Czech Republic, received well-deserved recognition by demonstrating how the integration of the kaizen methodology into the daily work of the foreman makes it possible to find solutions to “unsolvable” problems.

In 2020, a team of teacher and her students of Perm National Research Polytechnic University subdue d the participants and the jury of the competition with the creative implementation of Lean and Agile technologies, created to solve the problem of increasing student involvement in the educational process.

In 2019, a metalworking company “BENEŠ A LÁT” from the Czech Republic took first place in the Human Capital nomination with a unique project of sharing designers for kindergartens as part of the corporate strategy of training workers for the future of digital production.

More and more companies consider participation in the competition as a fair of ideas for them. “Transformation” provides intellectual synergy in the interests of each company.

HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK?

1. In competition can participate individuals and legal entities , that are not manufacturers and suppliers of military equipment, weapons and ammunition, who have provided competitive materials and paid the registration fee in accordance with the Regulations on the competition.
2. The International Productivity Week IP Week is free from any political, religious content, segregation on any grounds, demonstrations of weapons and enterprises producing them.

FIRST ROUND
  • The competition materials for the projects are posted on the IPWeek website.
    Each IPWeek participant can vote for the project they like and these votes will make up 30% of the total points of the First round. The remaining 70% will come from the votes of the Expert Council, which will evaluate the projects at length.
SECOND ROUND
  • The second round will take place in the form of an online defense in front of the jury.
    As part of the defense, a video will be played, and participants will be able to present their projects and answer the questions of the jury.
    The broadcast of the project presentations will be available to all participants of IPWeek 2021 with simultaneous translation.
    The winners will be determined by summing the points scored in each nomination.

    1) Project passport in Russian and English in .doc (x) format
    2) Electronic version of the project poster in .pdf format, with a resolution of at least 3507 × 2481 pixels at 300 dpi

    How to design a poster?
    The poster should reflect the essence and outcomes of the project in a graphical and concise form.
    The poster should be in color, the orientation of the poster is strictly horizontal. (Electronic version with a resolution of at least 3507 × 2481 pixels at 300 dpi)
    The text of the poster must be in English.
    The poster should contain the following sections:
    – Information about the project: Name of the project, nomination, authors of the project, company logo. This information should be submitted in English and the native language of the applicant (first the English version, followed by the native language version).
    – Problem statement
    – Solutions and methodology
    – Results

WHO WILL EVALUATE THE CONTEST?

An international jury will decide on the winners and laureates of the Competition. The jury will be published on the official website of the International Productivity Week IPWeek 2021 by October 1, 2021. The Expert Council of the Competition is formed by the established representatives of the professional community. The Council evaluates the content of the projects in the first round.

WHAT LANGUAGE WILL THE PROJECT DEFENSE TAKE PLACE IN?

The competition participants will be given the opportunity to choose one of the three official languages ​​of IPWeek 2021 to present the project.

HOW MUCH IS THE PARTICIPATION FEE?

The registration fee is 2000 euros.

 

The registration fee includes:
Audit and consultations on the design of competitive materials.
Master class on project presentation in online format and working with translators.
Placement of contest materials on the Upweek website for online voting.

Expert assessment and opinion from three experts – representatives of the international professional community.
Participation in the final of the competition for those who passed the first round (online or offline)
Prize of the winner, diploma of the laureate or participant.
PR-promotion of the project and participants in publications and videos in accordance with the general concept of IPWeek
Separately paiment for the participation in the benchmark program conference, the winners’ gala evening.

HOW DOES THE COMPETITION CONTRIBUTE TO STRENGTHENING THE AUTHORITY AND PROFESSIONAL IMAGE OF YOUR COMPANY?

International Productivity Week 2022 events are widely covered in the Russian-speaking and international professional press. The general media partner of IPWeek 2022 is the publishing house” Standards and Quality “with a total audience of 60,000 people.
The results of the competition are published on the website, included in the official materials of the International Productivity Week, sent to partners and the media, and also posted on the IPWeek 2022 portal with access to all participants of the International Productivity Week for a period of 6 months.
